Favorite Workout: High intensity intervals of compound strength exercises – Because why not combine cardio and strength and high intensity interval training and get the knock it out in one go?! Also running, biking, swimming, especially outside!
Favorite time of day to work out: Bright and early, first thing in the morning – there’s nothing like starting your day off with a good workout. I love feeling energized and accomplished all before 8 am!
Describe your ideal client/class participant: Someone who’s motivated to change, is likes trying new things and likes to have fun! I love working with people who are open to and enjoy new challenges. I also love working with people who can have fun without taking themselves too seriously.
What is the most important thing you would want a new client/class participant to know about you? I love working with people to help them make changes to their lifestyle and ultimately their health. I believe health is multifaceted and involves nutrition, fitness, stress management, sleep & recovery and emotional/relational health. As a dietitian nutritionist and personal trainer I want to work with people on all aspects of health and help get them to where they feel confident, healthy and strong!
I am willing to meet you where you are and push you to where you want to go whether that means meeting one on one to chat, pushing you in the gym, or answering a burning nutrition question text/email. Let me know how I can help you! Also, I’m a dietitian because I LOVE all things food, especially eating it.
What is your “go to” workout song? For strength and cardio mix workouts, upbeat jams from my favorite Spotify workout playlists – usually pop songs with a good techno beat in the background. If it’s a long run or bike session I love anything by the National, Metric, Phoenix, etc.
Interests/Hobbies: Former Arkansas Razorback Swimmer – GO HOGS, I love football, cooking, seeing offbeat movies, reading anything to do with nutrition and mindfulness or a good nerdy fantasy story
